Funeral services for Alan O"�dell Thompson, 18, of Cookeville will be held Sunday, January 29 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Stone Seminary Cemetery. Rev. Keith Tosh will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Alan died Wednesday evening, January 25, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born May 25, 1993 in Cookeville, TN. Alan was a 2011 graduate of Cookeville High School. He loved sports, motorcycles and skateboarding. He was a member of Bangham Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Haskell Slagle, great grandfather, Malcolm Wilborn, grandmother, Ruby Mayberry, grandfather, Woody Thompson and an uncle, Jeff Thompson. Alan is survived by his mother and stepfather, Tonia Pharris Bilbrey and Eric Bilbrey; father, Terry Thompson; sister, Brittany Thompson all of Cookeville; fiancé, Bianca Tollison; grandparents, Eddie and Gail Pharris, Brenda and Mike Wilborn, and Judy Thomas; great grandmothers, Mae Carr, and Edna Wilborn; aunts, Kim Fox, Kristin Pharris and Kim Smith; uncles, Eddie Pharris, Malcolm Wilborn, Wayne Wilborn, Michael Wilborn, Jr., Sam Thompson, Kent (Shelly) Bilbrey, and Glenn Slagle; niece, Alexus Thompson; nephew, Waylon Thompson; great niece, Breanna Bilbrey; cousins, Paul Thompson, Jr., Austin Thompson, Erica Thompson, Destiny Thompson, David Denson, Taylor Pharris, Wade Fox, Kristi Tays and Emma Tays. Pallbearers will be Tyler Slagle, Joseph Slagle, Cody Baugh, Timothy Cobble, Dakota Pharris and Levi Fox. Honorary pallbearer will be Mason Tays.
