Albert Ray Western

Funeral services for Mr. Albert Ray "Chino" Western, age 55 were held Friday, August 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment followed in Algood Heritage Cemetery. Bro. Andre Massengile officiated. His family received friends Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Western passed away Friday, August 6, 2021. He was born August 23, 1965 in Cookeville to the late Cordell A Jarrett, Sr. and Callie B Roberts Western Buck. Albert was employed at Fleetguard for over 15 years. He was a friendly, outgoing and family-oriented man. He was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots and Elvis Presley. He is survived by his wife, Pansy Western; children, William Western, Logan Western, Amber (Josh) Reneau, Tiana Western (mother, Jaine Western) and Tye Iceman (mother, Patti Kamp); grandchildren, Kaleb and Rylynn Reneau; sisters, Katie Sampler, Mary Jane Johnson, Lorene (Sylvester) Franklin, Carolyn (Arvel) Edwards and Faye (Timothy) Wilson; brother, William "Bud" Wester, mother-in-law, Denise Crabtree; brother-in-law, Bryan (Sharlotte) Crabtree; sister-in-law, Emma Sue Roberts; and by a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Ross (infant), John "Pop" Western, Taft Western, Jr., Leonard Roberts and Cordell Jarrett, Jr.; father-in-law, Kenny Crabtree; brothers-in-law, Charlie Sampler and John Johnson. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Albert's family wished to thank Nurse Amy and Nurse Lisa; Jeremy Western and Tiffany Myers for all the care and love you showed Albert. A BIG THANK YOU to all the Cummins/Fleetguard family for all the donations and well wishes. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS his family requests donations be made toward final expenses.
