BAXTER-Funeral services for Audrey Mai Foster, 81 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, September 3 at 1 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Smellage Memory Gardens in the Boma Community. Mrs. Foster passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Bethesda Health Care Center. She was born August 27, 1935 in Livingston to the late James Albert and Zina Lee Hicks Bowman. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Foster. Survivors include daughters and a son-in-law Brenda Tinin and friend Bobby Sullins of Buffalo Valley, Debbie and Richard Neill of Ashland City, sons Jim Foster and Henry Foster both of Baxter, sisters Ruth Martin of Johnson City, Ina Copeland of Nashville and Annie Brown of Ashland City, brothers and sisters-in-law Devon and Judy Bowman of Ashland City, Leon Bowman of Monterey and Danny and Pat Phillips of Nashville, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Bro. Skip Abbott will officiate. Family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 8 PM and after 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
