Barbara Stedman

Visitation for friends and family of Barbara Anne Hart Stedman, 75, of Cookeville will be held Friday, March, 23 and Saturday, March 24 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Mrs. Stedman died suddenly, Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born September 1, 1936, in West Palm Beach, Florida to the late Robert Burr and Helene Dyl Hart. Mrs. Stedman was a retired associate with Bell South Telephone with over 25 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Buddy Johnson. Mrs. Stedman is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dr. Stephen Stedman (whom she married October 23, 1976, in Port St. Joe, FL); a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Sonja Johnson of Baker, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Willie Johnson of Flomaton, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Betty Hart of Apopka, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and James Babb of Houston, TX, six grandchildren, Morgan Johnson, Mehgan Johnson, C.J. Moye, Jamie Johnson, Joey Johnson, and Kristopher Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Lane.
