Bob "John Robert Ii" Allison

Memorial Service for John Robert (Bob) Allison II, age 66, of Cookeville will be Thursday evening, April 12, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will recieve friends on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until time of the service. Burial will be in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Bob passed away Saturday April 7, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born October 18, 1945 in Cookeville TN to Dorothy Fitzpatrick Allison and the late John Robert Allison Sr. Mr. Allison was a professional photographer for 35 years and was a member of the Professional Photographers Association. Along with his love of photography, Bob also enjoyed building and playing guitars, collecting watches, and spending time at the shooting range. Mr. Allison is survived by his wife; Joan Allison of Cookeville, two daughters; Kim (Bill) Miller of Smyrna TN and Amy (Bryan) McGuire of Rockvale TN as well as two grandchildren; Makenna Miller and Rylee McGuire. Bob is also survived by his mother; Dortha (Dot) Allison of Cookeville. Mr. Allison was preceded in death by his father John Robert Allison Sr. Bro. David Corley will be conducting the services.
