Pastors Jimmie Simpson and Eugene Schmid will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time. Bob passed away Thursday September 17, 2020 at his home. He was born October 1, 1945 in Cookeville to the late Virgil and Myrtie Walker Randolph. Bob was a member of West View Baptist Church. He was the proprietor of several businesses, including Belle Acres Golf Course and Algood Diner. He was an avid golfer and was known for winning several longest drive contests. He enjoyed his time on the golf course with his numerous golfing buddies on a regular basis. He had a great sense of humor and several people have been victims of his light-hearted pranks. He was a master storyteller and loved talking with people and interacting with the public. He was interested in magic tricks and card tricks and was always excited to show someone his newest tricks. He loved to play cards and always looked forward to Saturday nights, so that he could play cards with Sandi, Steven, Jennifer, Tyler, and Matthew. He was a big fan of Nascar races and local stock car races and enjoyed his time watching the races with his friends. His favorite television shows were always westerns. He could watch the same episodes over and over. Bob was known for his ever changing tastes in vehicles and his enjoyment in trading vehicles, especially trucks. He helped support several local car lots and dealerships by regularly “getting the itch to trade”. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra Wilson Randolph, they married December 24, 1968 in Cookeville; son, Steven (Jennifer) Randolph; daughter, Rhonda (Ricky) Lynn; grandchildren, Matthew and Tyler Randolph, Rachel and Rylee Lynn, all of Cookeville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Vaden, Verble, Joe, and Thomas Verlin Randolph. Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
