Bonnie Jean Montgomery

Funeral Services for Ms. Bonnie Jean Montgomery, Age 69, of Cookeville, will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday, June 26, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Graveside service will be held Saturday June 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Ms. Montgomery passed on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at her residence. Bonnie was born July 2, 1944 in Clinton, TN. to the late John Ewing and Gladys Overton Ewing. Ms. Montgomery loved baking, flowers, wind chimes & going to yard sales. She also enjoyed watching detective shows. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Patricia (husband George) Seagrave of Cookeville, Teresa (husband Brian) Nelson of Baxter; one son, Jerry Montgomery (Fianc Alecia Spivey and her children) of Cookeville. seven grandchildren, William & Emma Seagrave, Tristen Rogers, Dylan Nelson, Austin Romines, Keaton & Kaira Montgomery. She also is survived by a brother, John 'Buster' (wife Janet) Ewing of Clinton, TN. Bonnie also leaves behind her grand-dog Teddy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, James Odis Overton. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Bro. Ken Haney will officiate the service.
