COOKEVILLE -- Private graveside services for Boyd Lee Arline, 73, were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 18, at West Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Arline died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, in Master's Health Care Center in Algood. He was born Aug. 16, 1935, in Overton County to the late Cecil Lee and Laura Alice Carr Arline. Mr. Arline was a member of Rickman First Free Will Baptist Church. His family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Rickey Lee and Tammy Arline of Anderson, Ind.; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and James Walden of Cookeville; a sister, Ethelene Smallwood of Crossville; a brother, William Carl Arline of Whiteville; three grandsons, Danieal Brandt Crail and wife Autumn of Cookeville and Will Lee Arline and Kyle Joe Arline, both of Anderson; two stepgrandsons, James Walden II and Dustin Walden, both of Cookeville and a great-grandson, Daiden Brandt Crail, who was Papaw's Little Buddy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Short Arline; a sister, Earlene C. Landis; his stepfather, Vernal G. Krantz; and a great-grandson, Alex Crail. Pallbearers will be Mr. Arline's grandsons. Bro. Joseph E. Wiles of University Heights Baptist Church will officiate at the services.
