Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Brenda Kay Clemons, 53 of the Rickman Community of Overton County will be held Tuesday August 6, at 10 a.m. at the Byers Cemetery in Jackson County with Rev. Roger Cooper officiating. Mrs. Clemons died suddenly Friday evening August 2, 2013 at her home. She was born October 8, 1959 in Crossville, Tennessee to the late Dillard Gaskel and Hazel Bell McDaniel Allen. Mrs. Allen's family will receive friends immediately following the services at the cemetery. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn Hunter, Mayme Williams, Judy McCloud, Ruby Allen, Teresa Sutherland, Carolyn Reynolds, and Delois Bowman; and brothers, Carlos Allen, Damon Allen, Raymond Allen, and Larry Allen. Survivors include her husband Tony Clemons; two sons, Justin Clemons and Daniel Allen all of Rickman; daughter, Kathy Fansler of Cookeville; three grandchildren, Troy Allen, Cody Fansler, and Tate Fansler; sister, Wilma Eldridge of Cookeville; and brother, Amos Allen of Algood.
