Bruce Ware

Celebration of Life Service for Bruce Carl Ware, 75 of Cookeville will be Sunday, October 24 at 4 PM at Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Family members will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday after 2 PM until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Ware died Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at his home in Cookeville. He was born June 11, 1946 in Cookeville to the late Louie and Edna Dyer Ware. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Orville Dyer, George Leffew, James M. Dyer and Clayton Ware. Bruce was a 1966 graduate of Central High School and of the Baptist faith. He retired from MetCom of Cookeville. Survivors include daughters Vickie Medley, Jennifer Maxwell and fiance Zeb Waller, sister Elizabeth Tallent all of Cookeville, grandchildren: Aleaha Maynard, Lindsey Waller and Landon Maxwell, great-grandchildren: Molleigh and Mason Maynard, Jake Waller, several nieces and nephews.
