Cecil Ray Fultz

Funeral services for Mr. Cecil Ray Fultz, age 83, of Monterey, will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday January 9 at Dyer Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Mr. Fultz passed away on Saturday January 6, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born October 30, 1934 in Thornton, KY to the late Willie B. and Flora Elizabeth Wilson Fultz. Mr. Fultz was a Korean War veteran having served in the US Navy. He was a member of Monterey VFW Post 6277. He was retired welder at Elgin Sweeper in Elgin, IL. He also was formerly employed at Dacco, Purdue, and Sand Products in Monterey. Mr. Fultz is survived by his companion, Mary Murray, step-son, William Kirby; both of Monterey; sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Billy Hall of Cookeville; five sons, William, Jon, Cecil Jr., Robert, and Jerry Fultz; and daughter, Pattricia Fultz.
