CHA MINH NGO, 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Cookeville, TN at home with his wife, Nga Ngo, and children at his bedside. He was a Central Intelligence Officer, teacher, journalist and author, published books of poetry and literary philosophy as well as articles, poems, and short novels in major journals. Later in life, he became a senior computer analyst in St. Paul, MN and lectured worldwide on computer networking for AT&T, NCR, Comten, and Bell South. He was a tennis enthusiast and an active community organizer. He has four living children: Daughter Trinh Dicken and her husband, Dr. Donald Dicken, of Kennewick, WA; son Dr. Thuy Ngo and wife, Le Ngo, of Cookeville, TN; son Dr. Huan Ngo of New Haven, CT; and daughter Trang Claussen and husband, Paul Claussen, of Atlanta, GA. He has ten grandchildren: Cassie Dicken, Dr. Quentin Dicken, Marcel Ngo, Dr. Paula Ngo, Dr. Lana Ngo, Lindsey Ngo, Marlon Ngo, Alex Claussen, William Claussen and Vincent Claussen. He was affected by Alzheimer’s Dementia for nearly 2 decades and in 2015 moved from Atlanta, GA to Cookeville, TN to be close to his family. His family and friends will remember him for his intellect, sensibility and unending lust for life. Private family services will be scheduled at a later date.
