Charlene Rosenell Ledbetter

Funeral Services for Mrs. Charlene Rosenell Ledbetter, age 66, of Livingston, will be Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Allens Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Allens Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Mrs. Ledbetter passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born July 22, 1947 in Livingston to the late Osa D. and Effie Mae Poston Allen. Charlene was a beautiful wife, mother and grandmother who worked as a seamstress for most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her family and grandchilden. Charlene is survived by her husband, Donald R. Ledbetter; two sons, Johnny (Stacy) Ledbetter of Duck River TN, and Doug (Cindy) Ledbetter of Livingston; three granddaughters, Thea Ledbetter, Jayme Morris and Hannah (Dylan) Isabell ; three grandsons, Bryer, Jackson and Clayton Ledbetter; two sisters, Imogene (Jerry)Snedecor and Mary Ruth(Tom) Pryor. She is also survived by five sisters-in law, Mary Emma Allen, Lois Allen, Betty Ledbetter Riley, Jimmie Claudine Allen And Sabra Ledbetter Balling; two brothers in-law Claude Ledbetter Jr. and Tom Pryor. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ledbetter was preceded in death by three brothers; Hilman, Harley and Claude Allen; two sisters, Norma Ray and Nadine Bowman. Pallbearers will be Darrell Farris, Timmy Farris, Gary Allen, Mark Burgess, Tony Peek, Lee Snedecor and Dylan Burgess. Bro. Ken Haney will be conducting the services.
