Charles Barnes

Graveside services for Mr. Charles Fowler Barnes, 77, of Cookeville will be held Wednesday, May 16 at 1 p.m. in Crest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Jim Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the cemetery. Mr. Barnes died suddenly Sunday evening, May 13, 2012 at his home. He was born March 7, 1935 in Jackson County, TN to the late Fowler John and Lillie Katherine Suttles Barnes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Barry Barnes, two sisters, Sylvia Kane and Clio Harris and two brothers, Johnson Barnes and George Barnes. Mr. Barnes is survived by three sisters, Margie Tilson of Livingston, TN; Lillie Davis and husband, Richard of Lapel, IN; Donna Davis and husband, Johnny of Chicago, IL; one brother, Edd Barnes of Morristown, TN.
