Charlotte Pierce

Funeral services for Charlotte Rose Pierce, 74 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, January 1, 2022 at 1 PM at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Morgan Pippin Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Daughrity will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 8 PM and after 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home until service time. Mrs. Pierce died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at her home. She was born March 9, 1947 in Putnam County to the late Hulon Wilburn and Ruby Jewell Rippetoe Rogers. She was a member of Sycamore Church of Christ. Charlotte retired as a mortgage loan officer with Bank of Putnam County and Fleetguard Credit Union. She enjoyed yard and garage sales, watching Wheel of Fortune on TV and doing word search puzzles. Survivors include husband of 41 years (Married February 25, 1980) Donald Earl Pierce of Cookeville, daughters Vicky Horn, Kim (Billy) Dailey all of Cookeville, step-daughter Connie (Jamie) Vassilev, step son Jason (Amanda) Pierce, grandchildren: Niki Norvell, Dustin Burgess, Zack Burgess, Brooklyn, Cole, Alyssa, Layla and Dallas pierce, great-grandchild Asher Kennedy. Pallbearers will be Dusty Burgess, Cole Pierce, Nicholas Vassilev, Jamie Vassilev, Andy Phifer and Aaron Norvell. Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (931)526-6111.
