Funeral services for Mrs. Chrissa Shanks Williams, age 47 of Cookeville will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Christian Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Mrs. Williams passed away in her sleep at home on Thursday January 20, 2022. She was born December 14, 1974 in Cookeville, TN to Bud Shanks and the late Martha Summers Shanks Willis. Mrs. Williams' positive, outgoing personality was a blessing to her many friends. She thrived on the strong relationships she cultivated and was a natural caretaker to those she loved. She was selfless, always looking out for others. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed spoiling her family. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Dr. Tom Willis. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Steve Williams; son, Jacob Goin of Murfreesboro, TN; father, Bud Shanks of Cookeville; step-children, Wyatt and Sierra Williams of Cookeville; and Storm and Gabby Williams of Knoxville; and two grandchildren, Aubrey and Grace Williams.
