Baxter-Memorial services for Christal Leigh Rodgers, age 44, of Baxter, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday November 22 at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Brother Carl Scarlett officiating. Christal's family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 - 2 p.m. She passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Christal was born June 22, 1973, in Cookeville to the late Billy Charles Rodgers and Cheryl Garrison Rodgers Scarlett of Baxter. She was member of Baxter First Baptist Church. Christal graduated from Upperman High School in 1991. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Tennessee Tech University 1995. She was the former sales manager at Plateau Pipe and marketing coordinator for Crossville Ceramics. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Brother Carl Scarlett of Baxter, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Melody and Tim Peace of Chattanooga, Cindy and Jim Queen of Monterey, and brother and sister-n-law Chuck and Amy Rodgers of Baxter; she is also survived by step sister Lisa and husband David Ozmet of Smyrna; two step brothers and wives, Steve and Debbie Scarlett of Smyrna, and Jeff Scarlett of Cookeville; uncles and aunts, Larry and Cathy Rodgers, Michael and Debbie Rodgers, all of Baxter; nephews, Colin and Nathaniel Peace, and Titus Rodgers; nieces, Celeste Peace and Madison Grace Rodgers.
