MEMORIAL Services for Edward Clay Lewis, 51 of Cookeville will be Friday, Mar. 9 at 2 P.M. at The River Community Church with Pastor Macil Duncan officiating. Mr. Lewis died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born August 8, 1960 in Danville, Ky. to the late Henry Clay and Nelle Penick Lewis. He was a Top Honor Graduate of the University of Kentucky in 1984 with a Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, he also was a Top Honor Graduate of Belmont University in 1997 with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He was a member of The River Community Church and a devoted husband and father. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Scott Driver. Survivors include wife of 4 years (Married November 19, 2007 in Ohio) Malinda Jewel Gullick Lewis of Cookeville, Former wife & mother of his children: Elecia Lewis , daughter Ashley Lewis, son Jonathan Lewis all of of Franklin, Tn., step-daughter & husband Deserea & Noah May of Nashville, 2 step-sons Dustin Crumb of Cookeville, Darrick Hock of Little Rock, Ark., sister Jody Driver of Memphis, 2 grandchildren: Eliana May and Braxton Crumb, niece Lindsey Driver, nephew Gregory Driver. The family will receive friends at the church after 1:30 P.M. Friday. Memorials can be made to the family by contacting the funeral home.
