DEBBIE WHITE COOKEVILLE-Funeral services for Deborah "Debbie" Faye White, 64 of Cookeville, will be Sunday, September 13 at 2 PM at Dodson Branch Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Dodson Branch Cemetery in Jackson County. Justin Owens, Mike Owens and Tyler Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 8 PM at Dyer Funeral Home and Sunday at the church from 1 PM until service time. Mrs. White died Friday, September 11, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born January 25, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Samuel and Ina Jackson Smith. She was a homemaker and member of House of Prayer Revival Center in Rickman. She enjoyed swinging on the back porch with family and friends. She loved her church and church family. She enjoyed spending time with her fur baby, Braylee the dog and family pet. Survivors include husband Bob White, daughter and son-in-law Tonya and Joey Poston all of Cookeville, grandchildren: Samantha and Austin Poston, brothers and sisters-in-law Gary ( Mildred) Smith of Dodson Branch, Sammy (Carman) Smith of Sparta, Bobby ( Bonnie) Smith of Dodson Branch, Jim (Patty) Smith of Cookeville. Pallbearers will be Gary, Bobby, Sammy, Jim and Tyler Smith, Zack Randolph. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be observed. Wearing masks is encouraged.
