Debra Sloan

Mrs. Debra Sloan, age 68 of Baxter and former longtime resident of New Jersey, died Wednesday January 11, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born August 16, 1954 in Kingston, Pennsylvania to Mary Jacobs Conklin and the late Eldon Curtis Conklin

Debra was a strong, dedicated person who loved people and meeting their needs. Throughout her life, she was a caretaker of many. She was an incredible mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Debra enjoyed antiquing, collecting glassware and designing floral arrangements.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sons, Drew Curtis Sloan and David Sloan.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by son, Don Sloan; granddaughter, Kora Sloan; and by brothers, Todd Conklin, Curt Conklin and Gary Conklin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
