Funeral services for Delbert Dean Campbell, age 60, of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 5, 2010 from noon until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service. The family will host a reception immediately following the service at the funeral home. Mr. Campbell died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. He was born November 1, 1949 in Flint MI to the late Jesse Campbell and Irene French Campbell. Delbert worked as a Logistics Manager with International Specialty Supply (ISS) and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He also served as a Boy Scout leader for several years and was of the protestant faith. His family includes Connie Campbell: three sons; Delbert D. Campbell Jr. and Tuesday of Cookeville, Brian and Jennifer Campbell of White House TN, and Scott and Jennifer Campbell of Nashville; three daughters; Shannon Doster and husband Chirs of Mt. Juliet TN, Wendy Oliver and husband Sam of Iva SC, and Jennifer Campbell and David of Cookeville. Delbert is also survived by one brother, Randy Inman and wife Linda of Delray Beach FL, and four sisters; Lavina Cole of Sikeston MO, Ramona Anaya of Skidway Lake MI, Robin Campbell of Grandview MO, and Dawn Campbell of Flint MI. His family also includes twenty two (22) grandchildren, one (1) great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by one sister, Jacquelyn Perkins and a very special uncle, Charles French. Bro. Jorgen Runquist will conduct the services.
