Funeral services for Delva Jean Maynard, 72, of Silver Point will be held Thursday, September 29 at 1 p.m. in the Baxter Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Maynard Cemetery in the Tightfit Community of Putnam County. Bishop Evan Hart will officiate. The family will receive friends today 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Maynard died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Masters Health Care Center. She was born October 9, 1938 in Ogden, Utah to the late Earl and Blanche McNally Fenstermaker. Mrs. Maynard was a member of Cookeville Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernal Clay "Bill"� Maynard, daughter, Patricia "Pat"� Maynard Sewell, three sons, Roger, Steven and Bruce Maynard. Mrs. Maynard is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Jim and Arlene Maynard of Gainesboro; Sheldon Maynard of Cookeville; Bryan and Kriste Maynard and Scott Maynard all of Silver Point; a son-in-law, Mark Sewell and a daughter-in-law, Teresa Maynard both of Silver Point; brother, Jerry Fenstermaker of Ogden, Utah; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
