Diane Irene Beard

Memorial services for Diane Irene Beard, 70, of Cookeville will be held Monday, November 14 at 10 a.m. at Unity Church of the Cumberlands. Rev. Jervais Phillips will officiate. Interment will be at a later date at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery in Winter Garden, Florida. Miss Beard died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 27, 1940 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to Lola May Case Beard and the late Arthur Henry Beard. Miss Beard was a member of Unity Church of the Cumberlands. She was a registered nurse for over 50 years. She retired from Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. She was a member of the Cookeville Dulcimer Society. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Ralph Fischer. Miss Beard is survived by her mother, Lola May Case Beard and a sister, Myrna Fischer both of Cookeville; numerous cousins, abd devoted friends, Helen Anglemier and Peggy Finger.
