Dorcus Whiteaker

Graveside services and entombment for Dorcus R. "Toots"� Whiteaker, 82, of Sparta, TN will be held Thursday, October 25 at 2 p.m. at Miami Valley Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Centerville, OH with Pastor Brian Proffit officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Swart & Wolfe Funeral Home in West Carrollton, OH. Mrs. Whiteaker passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born October 26, 1929 in Conway, KY to the late Newt and Clairinda Blair Miracle. She attended Miami Shores Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Sue Whiteaker, four sisters and four brothers. Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Beecher C. Whiteaker, Sr. of Sparta; three sons, Beecher C. Whiteaker, Jr. and wife Deborah of TX, James C. Whiteaker of TN, Oscar N. Whiteaker and wife Rose of MS; two daughters, Doris Hillard and husband Bill and Irene Whiteaker, sister, Mary Ruth Proffit all of OH, 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
