Dorothy Faye Lowe

Memorial Services for Dorothy Faye Lowe, age 80, of Cookeville, will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Mrs. Lowe passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born September 20, 1932 in New Site, MS to the late Dewey Rogers and Leona Aldridge Rogers. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and loved gardening. Everyone loved her cooking when given the opportunity to sit at her table. Dorothy is survived by three children: Bobby (Mary Lou) Lowe of St. John IN, Barbara (Perry) Allen of Indianapolis IN, and Brenda (Ronald) Warfel of Cookeville. She is also survived by one brother, Norris Rogers of AR, six grandchildren: Brian (Jody) Lowe, Tiffany Lowe, Kevin Lowe, Bob Beckwith, Lawrence Webb, and Lea Webb, as well as seven great-grandchildren: Graham Fitzpatrick, Alyanah Dewitt, Jacob Lowe, Logan Lowe, Noah Lowe, Nathan Beckwith and Alyssa Beckwith. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by four brothers: J.C. Rogers, L.D. Rogers, Doyis Rogers, and an infant brother, as well as two sisters: Ethel Fredrick and Essie Fredrick. Bro. Roger Cooper will officiate the services.
