Graveside services and interment for Douglas Rhoton, age 57 of Baxter, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday October 3 at Nash Cemetery. Minister Derek Holloway and Jeff Farley will officiate. Due to COVID-19 please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Douglas passed away Thursday morning October 1, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 5, 1963 in Putnam County, TN, to the late Herman and Ima Nash Rhoton. Douglas attended Upperman High School. He loved the outdoors, enjoying many sports, especially fishing. Douglas’ love of family knew no bounds and his love was returned tenfold. He is survived by three sisters, Mary (Larry) Harris of Baxter, Lavonda Moore of Cookeville, Joyce (Barnie) Weaver of Wartrace, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Herman Rhoton; brother-in-law, Dean Moore; sister-in-law, Sue Rhoton; two infant brothers, and an infant sister.
