Funeral services for Edna Lee, 95, of Mesa, AZ, and formerly of Cookeville, will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, October 17, at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Lee"�s family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 "� 8 pm and again Wednesday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Lee died Wednesday October 10, 2012 in Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. She was born June 18, 1917 in Cookeville, TN to the late James Franklin and Mary Luna Boyd Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garrett Lee; four brothers, Lee, Larry, Jerry, Mack Allen; and three sisters, Alma Allen, Lena Gentry, and Avonell Allen. She is survived by a son, Johnny Lee of Boling Brook, IL; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Vivian Louise Ashe and Barbara Lee both of Mesa, AZ; Gail and Trent Douglas of Bloomington, IL, Rose and Engleberto Jacomino of Tampa, FL; two sisters and two bothers-in-law, Lola Thaxton of Cookeville, and Alene & Sydney Stephens of Ocala, FL; 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
