Edward "Ed" Mott

Funeral Services for Edward "ED"� H. Mott, 87 of Baxter will be Monday, Jan. 23 at 1 P.M. from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Leftwich officiating. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Mr. Mott died Friday afternoon January 20, 2012 at the home of his son in Baxter. He was born November 6, 1924 in Putnam County to the late John Wesley and Mary Lou Clouse Mott. He was a retired farmer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife of 55 years Charlene Davis Mott; daughter Terry Mott; sisters Lillian Herrin and Erma Petris; brothers Oakley Mott and Oscar Mott. Survivors include two sons & daughters-in-law Glen & Kim Mott, Gary & LaTonya Mott all of Baxter; three grandchildren Jason Mott and wife Jenny, Ashley Dodson and husband Glen, and Brittany Mott. Special Lady Friend, Evelyn Jones. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive fiends Sunday from 5 to 8 P.M. and Monday from 10 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
