Faye Scott

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Faye Scott, age 76, of Cookeville, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday June 22 at Dyer Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Madden will officiate. Interment will follow at West Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. and again Saturday from 2 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Scott passed away Thursday morning June 20, 2019 at her home. She was born December 22, 1942 in Cookeville to the late Davy Crockett and Carrie Pennington McBride. Mrs. Scott was a member of Brindley's Chapel Church of God. She was retired from Cookeville Shirt Factory after 30 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Joe (Bo) Scott; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Linda Scott of Cookeville; brother, Keith McBride of Cookeville; two sisters, Glenda Randolph of Cookeville, Ruth Farley of Gary, IN; grandchildren, Jeffery Smith of Cookeville, Chad and Jessica Clark of Nashville; great-grandchildren, Carlos and Belen Clark of Nashville; and great great-grandchild, Isaiah Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy McBride and Daniel Boone McBride; and four sisters, Sue Boring, Minnie Peak, Gennetta, and Mary Ellen Farley.
