Memorial services for Franklin Delano Conner, Sr., age 75 of Cookeville, will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, August 29 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Stanford will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 - 5 p.m. Due to COVID precautions, social distancing measures will be observed and guests are required to wear masks. Alternatively, you may view the service by livestream at the web address listed below. Frank passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1945 in Bonifay, FL to the late John Perry and Cora Lee Grantham Conner. Frank was a member of Breakthrough Church in Cookeville. He was retired from the tool and die manufacturing industry. He was a talented jack-of-all-trades who could fix anything. Frank loved his family and was the best Papa to his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wanda Joyce Judd Conner, married August 21, 1965 in Cookeville; son, Frank Conner, Jr., of Nashville; two daughters, Stephanie McPhail (Ken Fox) of Olathe, KS, Melissa (Jeff) Fitzpatrick of Cookeville, ; ; sisters, Caroline (Harlen) Pharris, Janie (Jerry) Carter, Barbara (Justin) Jordan, Shirley Mitchell, all of Florida; brothers, ZY Conner (Iris), Jimmy (Sandy) Conner, Wayne Conner (Joanne), all of Florida, Richard (Ann) Conner of Clarksville, TN, and J.W. Conner; grandchildren, Bethany (Blake) Nabors, Megan Fitzpatrick (Shane Rogers), Crissiana Fitzpatrick, Ayden McPhail, and Ashtyn McPhail; and great-grandchildren, Liam Fitzpatrick, Alex Rogers, and Rebekah Nabors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Dolly Dunlap, Gladys Baggett, and Willy Mae Cook; and brothers, Ed Free, Arthur Free, Kent Conner, and Hilt Conner.
