Gaile Conatser

Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Gaile Conatser, 60, of Cookeville will be held Saturday, March 24 at 11 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Danny Hembree will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 5p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Conatser died suddenly Wednesday afternoon at her home. She was born September 19, 1951 in Putnam County, TN to the late Robert Carl and Ruby Ethelene Welch Hembree. Mrs. Conatser was a charter member of Colonial View Baptist Church. She worked as a License Practical Nurse for many years in nursing homes and Homehealth. She was very talented in craftwork and crocheted hats for Vanderbilt Children"�s Hospital in Nashville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Carl Hembree and David Stephen Hembree. Mrs. Conatser is survived by her husband, Don Conatser (whom she married January 30, 1988 in Overton County, TN); a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Nathan Twitty of Cookeville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lannie and Cyndi Vickers of Sparta and Jason Vickers of Cookeville; two brothers and sister-in-law, Danny and Kathy Hembree and Terry Hembree; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Bobbie and Steve Bruton, Teresa and Ken Meadows and Susie and Roger McDonald all of Cookeville; eight grandchildren, Sara Twitty, Hannah Twitty, Loren Vickers, Maggie Vickers, Mason Vickers, Joshua Vickers, Cole Vickers and Silas Vickers. Family will serve as pallbearers.
