Memorial services for Glenda Brown, 57 of Baxter, will be Saturday, October 23 at 11 AM at Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after 9 AM Saturday until service time. Bro. Charlie Wills will officiate. Interment will be in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in the Boma Community at a later date. Glenda died Thursday evening, October 14, 2021 at her home. She was born June 27, 1964 in Birmingham, Alabama to Marie Phelps Brown of Baxter and the late Larry Hugh Brown. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bert Brown. She was a 1982 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter. Glenda attended Life Church of Cookeville. She had served as office manager/insurance agent with Gary Maxwell Insurance of Cookeville for over 23 years. She enjoyed traveling. Survivors in addition to her mother, include daughter Ashlyn Medley of Bowling Green, KY, son Jackson Medley of Granby, Colorado, sister Anna Brown of Baxter, brother and sister-in-law Larry Dale and Claudia Brown of Maryville, TN, father of her children Roger Medley.
