Funeral services for Thomas Glenn Parks, 61 of Jackson County, will be held at 3 pm Sunday, November 20, at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 pm until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Parks died Friday November 18, 2011 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born November 4, 1950 in White County to the late J.C. Parks and Marie Anderson Parks Eller of. Mr. Parks was an U. S. Army veteran. He was self-employed in construction and siding. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kim Broyles. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patti Loftis Parks (who he married July 7, 1973 in Jackson County); son and daughter-in-law, Robby Parks and Jennifer Hackbarth of Jackson County; daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Apryl and Robert Hall of Cookeville; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Rita Parks of White County; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon Ann and David Trisdale, Cheryl and Carl Hitchcock, Vicky and Danny Randolph, all of White County; and three grandchildren, Haley Grace Parks, Katherine Hall and Levi Hall.
