Graveside services for Grace Clemons Wallace, 80 of Silver Point will be Thursday, July 12 at 11A.M. at Crest Lawn Cemetery with Bro. Tony Crow Officiating. The family will receive friends at Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. Mrs. Wallace died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at DeKalb Community Hospital in Smithville, Tn. She was born March 4, 1932 in Putnam County to the late Everett and Tavy Brown Clemons. Mrs. Wallace was a former owner of the Rose Garden Restaurant in Silver Point. She also helped establish Helen"�s Restaurant in Gainesboro and also helped Mrs. Marshall at Hurricane Boat Dock Restaurant on Center Hill Lake. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Osteen "JIGGS"� Wallace on October 7, 1984, son, Johnny Wallace, brother Alpha Clemons and a brother-in-law, Nelson Jones. Survivors include son Osteen Wallace of Silver Point, 2 sisters and a brother-in-law. Ruby Jones of Silver Point, Daisy and Larry Davis of Las Vegas, Nevada, 2 brothers Clyde (Lois) Clemons and Fred Clemons all of Silver Point, three grandchildren, Joseph (Cathy) Wallace of Cookeville; Sarah (Shane) Williams of Silver Point; Amanda Wallace of Cookeville, great grandchildren, Aniya Wallace, Ian Williams, Mallory Williams, Adriana Wallace and Alex Williams, and almost like a son, Randy Hall of Silver Point and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family requests memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity.
