Gregory Spencer

Memorial services for Mr. Gregory Davis Spencer, age 56 of Algood, will be held Saturday, September 18, at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Spencer passed away Tuesday evening September 7, 2021 at his home. He was born January 20, 1965 in Westminster, CA to the late Lealon Davis Spencer and Sonja Joanne Vest Williams. Greg was a self-employed flooring installer with a CFI Level 4 Certification. He is survived by his companion of 29 years, Paula Templeton; two daughters, Saressa Spencer of Cookeville and Brittany Spencer of Riverside, CA; granddaughter, Emma Luna; brother, Don Spencer of Orange County, CA; father and mother-in-law, Peter and Wilma Templeton of Monterey; sister-in-law, Pam Poteet (Bryon Nicholas) of Monterey; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Spencer. Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
