Harlon Henry

Funeral services for Harlon Henry, age 83 of Monterey were held at 6 p.m. Thursday July 1 at Horner Funeral Home in Monterey. Bro. Bobby Floyd officiated. Interment followed in the Whittaker Cemetery. His family received friends Thursday from 4 -6 p.m. at the funeral home. Harlon passed away Monday June 28, 2021 at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation in Monterey. He was born July 22, 1937 in Cookeville to the late Roxy Henry. Harlon was retired saw mill operator and logger. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia West of Monterey; three grandsons, Michael West and wife, Bobbie Jo of Cookeville, Adam West and wife, Beth of Cookeville, Shane (Baby) West of Monterey; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Carter; son, Clyde Carter; and granddaughter, Hannah Disbro. Horner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
