Funeral services for Harry Wilson Sullins, 68 of Baxter, will be Saturday, October 7 at 11 AM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Samuel Maxwell Cemetery. Bro. Greg Shannon will officiate. Mr. Sullins died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born November 2, 1948 in Putnam County to the late J.B. and Opal Beasley Sullins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Ruth Brown Sullins. He was a 1967 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter. He was a carpenter and member of the Horseback Riders Club. He enjoyed working with walking horses and farming. Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law Barbara and Daryhl Murphy of Cookeville, Beth and Roger Watts of Springfield, brother and sister-in-law Don and Diane Sullins of Buffalo Valley, step-children: Nissa (Greg) Shannon of Hardinsburg, KY, Greg (Lori) Taylor of Cookeville, nieces Amy (Jeff) Rich, Rachel (David) Bussell, 7 step-grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Friday and after 9 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
