Helen Cooper

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen B. Cooper, 87, of Algood will be held Saturday, July 16 at 11 a.m. in the Algood Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Cumby officiating. Interment will follow in Paran Cemetery in Overton County. Mrs. Cooper died Wednesday evening, July 13, 2011 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born July 24, 1923 in Overton County to the late Hilary and Etta Elizabeth Bartlett Warren. Mrs. Cooper was a member of Paran United Methodist Church and attended Algood Presbyterain Church. She was retired from the cafeteria staff at Algood School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Brenda Cooper, Leanna Cooper and a sister, Mildred Moore. Mrs. Cooper is survived by a daughter, Linda Sue Cooper of Algood; brother and sister-in-law, Carson and Kathleen Warren of Anderson, IN; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Dimple and Glenn Wright, Lena Warren and Bonnie and Aubrey Stockton all of Algood. The family will receive friends Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
