J. R. Lineberry

Funeral Services for J. R. Lineberry, 76 of Baxter will be Sunday, Aug. 11 at 2 P.M. from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home with interment in Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 10 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and Sunday from 10:00 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Lineberry died Friday, August 9, 2013 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born November 15, 1936 in Clifton, Wayne County, TN. to the late Pleas and Bertha Pigg Lineberry. He was a retired dairyman and lumberman and loved watching westerns on TV and the outdoors. He was a member of Scott Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife Anna Mae Sherrell Lineberry, 4 brothers John Ralph, Jeff, Rex and Ray Lineberry. Survivors include 3 daughters & sons-in-law Laura and Randy Wheeler, Lisa and Mario Bean all of Cookeville, Barbara and Mike Hickey of Baxter, son and daughter-in-law Rick and Katherine Lineberry of Baxter, 2 grandchildren: Jamie Trebing and Kristi Pendergrass, 2 great-grandchildren: Sam and Marcie. Bro. Darrell Garrett will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
