James Tatum

Memorial services for Mr. James Herbert Tatum, 63 of Lawrenceburg will be held Wednesday September 12 at 11 a.m. at Northview Church of Christ in Columbia, TN with Jeremiah Tatum officiating. His family will receive friends Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the church. Mr. Tatum was born June 3, 1949 in Little Rock, AR to Herb and Dorothy Benetz Tatum of Greenbrier, AR. Mr. Tatum passed away from this life on Sunday September 9, 2012 at his home in Lawrenceburg. He was a member of Gandy Church of Christ and was a retired postal manager in the United States Postal Service with 26 years of service. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cindy Watts Tatum (whom he married March 15, 1969 in Huntington Park, CA); daughter and son-in-law, Krista & Steve Talbert of Columbia, TN, son and daughter-in-law, Jeremiah & Amber Tatum of Cookeville; seven grandchildren, Lauryn, Travis, Mark, and Matthew Talbert of Columbia, Luke, Daniel, and Lyssa Tatum of Cookeville; and his brother and sister-in-law, Mark & Sherry of Camden, AR. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Tatum, Steve Talbert, Travis Talbert, Mark Talbert, Matthew Talbert, Luke Tatum, and Daniel Tatum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gandy Church of Christ Mission Fund, 954 West Point Rd, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
