Janet Hauss

A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Janet Simbrat Hauss, age 71 of the Cumberland Cove Community, will be held at 11am Tuesday, March 15 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Father Chad Puthoff officiating. Mrs. Hauss died suddenly Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, TN. She was born July 13, 1944 in Carbondale, PA to the late Walter and Helen Ropitski Simbrat. Janet was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was retired from St. Vincent Ferrer School in Dellay Beach, FL,where she served as dietician and teacher's assistant. She was a faithful wife, and loving mother and grandmother, and proud caretaker of her pet American Eskimo dogs. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Edward Hauss (whom she married August 6, 1967); two sons, Michael Hauss of San Antonio, TX and Gregory Hauss of Phoenix AZ; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Lynn Simbrat of Boynton Beach, FL and grandson, Eric Hauss who is currently serving in the US Air Force in Germany.
