Funeral Services for Janet Lynn Phillips, age 56, of Cookeville will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011, 1:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Allison Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, October 21, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Janet passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at NHC of Cookeville. She was born July 26, 1955 in Cookeville to W.C. Randolph and Wanda Jean Cronk Randolph. Janet was a member of the Samaria Church of Christ. She loved God, her family and red birds. Janet retired from Mallory, Timers in Sparta, and worked doing alterations and sewing from her home. Janet is survived by two daughters; Christie Stockton Sullivan and Jaclyn Phillips, both of Cookeville; her parents W.C. Randolph and Wanda Randolph; three sisters; Faye Nelson (husband Tom), Phyllis Gibson, and Venita Ashburn (husband Wayne) all of Cookeville. Mrs. Phillips is also survived by two brothers; Phillip Randolph of New Orleans and David Randolph of Cookeville. Janet leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren; Taylor, Nathan and Raelyn Sullivan along with a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by two infant boys, Christopher Phillips and Jay Phillips. Bro. David Eldridge will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Tom Nelson, Chad Sims, Phillip Robinson, Mike Sims, Stevie Phillips, Bobby Jr. Phillips, Daniel Randolph, Stephen Poteet, and Wayne Ashburn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Taylor Sullivan, Nathan Sullivan, Chandler Sims, Sawyer Sims, and Logan Sims. Online Guestbook may be signed at www.dyerfuneralservices.com
