Jason Howard Velten

Jason Howard Velten, age 47 of Cookeville, passed away Wednesday June 16, 2021 at his home. The family held a memorial service for Jason on Monday, June 21 at 4:00 pm at Standing Stone State Park, Shelter #5. He was born October 15, 1973 in Titusville, FL. He formerly worked at Hillsman Modular Molding (HMMI) in Titusville and later moved and worked at their location in Sparta, TN. He also worked for TTI Floor Care in Cookeville and Encompass Manufacturing. Jason was a loving son, husband, father and brother. He is survived by his wife, Jaime Barton Velten; parents, Robert and Helen Chase of Livingston; special stepmom, Ardith Langan.; son, Steven Velten; daughters, Victoria Velten, Faith McKnight, and Kaitlyn Davis; brother, Patrick (Bobbi) Velten of Livingston; and sisters, Angel Huether of Florida, and Elizabeth Huether of Murfreesboro. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alyssa Velten.
