Jean Judd

Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Marie Taylor Judd, 83, of Sparta will be held Saturday, March 10 at 11 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Dr. Robert Ward will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Judd died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Life Care Center of Sparta. She was born September 2, 1928 in Bedford County, TN to the late Cecil G. and Janye Lucille Hoover Taylor. Mrs. Judd was a charter member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Judd and a brother, Cecil M. Taylor. Mrs. Judd is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Parker and Debra Judd of Hendersonville, TN; a daughter and son-in-law, Tana and Wayne Davis of Sparta; four grandchildren, Mark (Frances) Davis of Sparta, Matt (Jennifer) Davis of McMinnville; Andy Davis of Sparta and Bryan Judd of Hendersonville; four great grandchildren, Lillie Davis, Austin Davis, Tyler Davis and Breanna Davis. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
