John Douglas Allen

A Celebration of Life Service for John Douglas Allen, 40, of Murfreesboro and formerly of Cookeville will be held Friday, June 1 at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Stowe officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, June 1 from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Mr. Allen went Home on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Pensacola, Florida"�s Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born February 29, 1972 in Cookeville, TN to Gary and Janie Smith Allen of Alpine, TN. John lived life to its fullest and was most proud of his wife, Maria and their three sons. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 21 years, Maria Aguirre Allen and their three sons, Nick, Tony and Josh of Murfreesboro; three brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Buffy Allen of Knoxville; Luke and Melissa Allen and Matt and Sarah Allen all of Cookeville; and many, many dear friends.
