Memorial Services for Johnnie Louise Farley, age 86 of Cookeville will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Double Springs Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at Double Springs Presbyterian Church on Friday evening, May 4, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from Noon until time of the service at the church. Mrs. Farley died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born June 20, 1925 in Bagdad, Florida to the late Cabell Ace Whirley and Rosa Annie Bain Whirley. She served in the field of Nursing for many years, and loved her work. Johnnie is survived by her daughter, Barbara Maynard of Cookeville; eleven grandchildren, Kelby Maynard, James Maynard, Jamie Bullard, Joey Bullard, Kayla Bullard, Kim Fetteroff, Suzann Stanek, Mike Stanek, Amanda Knox, Danielle Dillon, and Megan Lutzyk. She is also survived by several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband, James Farley Jr.; one daughter, Patricia Farley Fetteroff, one son, James Farley; one brother, Cabell Whirley; and one sister, Geraldine Walker. Brother Larry Wilmoth will officiate the services. Arrangements by Dyer Funeral Home.
