Joyce Ellen Crouch

Memorial services for Mrs. Joyce Ellen Crouch, age 68, of Cookeville, will be Saturday, December 8, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at the Bangham Heights Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church. Joyce passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 13, 1944 in Baxter TN to the late Luther Carl Young and Mable Rodgers Young. She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family, raising a garden and keeping the yard as well as tending the cattle and watching Purple Martins. Joyce also loved her outstanding church family at Bangham Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Crouch is survived by her husband, James Harold Crouch, four children; Michelle Crouch of Hattiesburg MS, Christina Smith of Maryville TN, Ken Crouch of Cookeville, and Sonja (husband Bryan) Nash also of Cookeville. She is also survived by one brother, James Harold Young (wife Elizabeth) of Mt. Juliet TN, six grandchildren; Dalton, Dillon, Nikki, Jessy, David, Brandi, and Coleman, as well as two great-grandchildren, Zoey and Nathan. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Earl Rodgers. Bro. Scott Griner will be conducting the services.
