Katherine Mcdonald

Private graveside services and interment for Katherine Austin McDonald, age 85 of Cookeville, will be Tuesday June 14 at Cookeville City Cemetery. Todd Sutton will officiate. Katherine passed away Sunday June 12, 2022 at NHC of Cookeville. She was born May 2, 1937 in Gainesboro, TN to the late Jess and Bonnie Raines Bowman. Katherine owned and operated The Gift Gallery in Cookeville prior to retirement. She was also a former member of the Cookeville Pilot Club. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, C.L. "Mac" McDonald; daughter, Benni (Jim) Rice of Nashville; stepson, Michael (Tracie) McDonald of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Andie (Bobby) Davis, Jed Rice, and Kristina (Corey) Barker; and great-grandchildren, Bridget and Blair Barker.
