Funeral services for Katie Kinniard Worley, 29 of the Boma Community, will be Monday, November 30 at 12 Noon at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Smellage Memory Gardens in Boma. Katie passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at her home. She was born October 18, 1986 in Putnam County to Keith, Jr. and Jean Watts Kinniard of Boma. She was a 2005 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter, and a 2009 graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a degree in Marketing. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church. She was a Benefits Coordinator for Averitt Express in Cookeville. Katie was a beloved wife, daughter, step-mom and sister who cherished her time with family and friends and loved her little dog, Aspen. She was preceded in death by grandparents: Hop and Dora Prill Maddux Watts, Keith Sr. and Willene Waller Kinniard. In addition to her parents, she is survived by husband Steven Worley (Married March 21, 2015 in Boma), step-sons Eric and Evan Worley, brother Josh Kinniard of Athens, GA, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Family will receive friends at Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home Sunday from 1 to 8 pm and Monday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home. Rev. Herb Leftwich and Rev. Charlie Wills will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
