Kelly Glazener

September 12, 1966 — June 4, 2021

Mr. Kelly Victor Glazener, age 54 of Bloomington Springs, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mr. Glazener was born September 12, 1966 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Eugene and Kathleen Howard Glazener. Kelly was an incredible individual. He was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He became a nuclear medicine technologist. He was a rancher and affectionately known as the cattle whisperer as he did not use cattle prods and the cattle would follow him around like puppies. He had a fantastic and subtle sense of humor, along with the most giving heart. He never knew a stranger, and would give you the shirt off his back. He was larger than life. He was a steadfast friend, a loving father. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Bernadette Hee; his children, Gene Thomas Glazener and Jessica Victoria Emms; four wonderful grandchildren: Adeline Emms, Wyatt Emms, Piper Glazener, and Rowan Glazener; a furry grandchild, Viesel who has been pining for him; and his best friend, Wade, whom he loved like a brother. Words from Bernadette: "Kelly, you brightened my life. I’ve never met anyone like you. You were my best friend as well as a loving and supportive husband. Rest In Peace. We will miss you every day of our lives. See you on the other side." Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. (931)526-6111.
